Posted June 26, 2013 - NITS is seeking a .NET Web Developer.
Primary Duties:
- Code in C#, ASP.Net, Java Script
- Involved in testing and design of application solutions
- Develop logical solutions and algorithms for applications, modules, and components
- Provide day to day support for all existing web applications
Essential Skills and Experience:
- 1-3 years web application development
- Familiarity using .Net for development.
- Experience developing database-driven applications
- Ability to create supporting documentation for projects and other tasks as required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and assignment; utilizing strong organizational skills
- Experience with report writing applications preferably Crystal Reports and Microsoft Reporting Services
Optional Skills:
- Knowledgeable about SQL Server
- Experience with Visual Studio
- Test Driven development
- Software design skills
- Experience with HTML5, HTML5 Canvas, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, AJAX and CSS3.
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Wordpress
Qualified candidates must have excellent interpersonal, communication and management skills as well as proven competencies in technology including hardware and software knowledge, familiarity w/MS Office and internet apps. Associates degree preferred, but not required. Must have valid New York State drivers license and transportation method as job requires travel throughout Buffalo area.
